The hallway on the ground floor, the tiled panel in the kitchen, and both bathrooms are paved with Mustang natural slate tiles. The living, cooking, and dining area on the ground floor is finished with oak parquet. Anyone who has ever walked barefoot on such natural floors knows the difference compared to ceramic or laminate flooring! Large open and long beams support the upper floor.

The kitchen is equipped with connections for both a gas and an electric stove and features an external ventilated range hood. Both bathrooms are equipped with a central exhaust system and underfloor heating.

Surrounding the house is a wooden terrace of approximately 45 m², offering many pleasant spots. The nearly 600 m² large, mature garden is largely secluded by trees and shrubs. This is ensured, among other things, by a huge, evergreen bamboo. Designed in the style of a cottage garden, the garden features 70-year-old rhododendrons. On that site there is also a daycare center and a primary school, as well as attractive children’s playgrounds. Various allotment garden associations offer varied walking routes and bicycle paths. The house is located on Veloroute 6 Ahrensburg towards Jungfernstieg.

In a distance of 500-600 m, you can reach the Hamburg park paths network. From there, you can follow the course of the Wandse (hence the name Wandsbek...) downstream in the Eichtalpark all the way to the Außenalster. By bike you can thus reach the city center in about 30 minutes – without having to participate in general traffic. If you have such a commute, it is a dream start to the day! Upstream, you can walk all the way to Rahlstedt into the Tunneltal, or follow the river fork of the Berner Au almost to Volksdorf. In the summer, the bike-accessible Strandbad Ostende is ideal for having fun.
