Hello new roommate!

Are you about to start your studies or are you already in the midst of them, and are you looking for a large, open-minded shared flat with many varied personalities? Do you have an interest in a lively living arrangement with joint activities? Then you’re perfectly at home in our shared flat. Please read everything carefully so that you answer our questions already in your application.

We are a diverse, mixed-age group and would love to welcome you.

Your future room is 18 square meters in size, and thanks to the high ceilings, the space feels particularly spacious, bright, and airy. The view from your room opens directly onto greenery. And when nothing is in bloom, you can even see the water, as the Oker river flows right along the property.

Overall, the house is spread over 4 floors, with the living areas located on the top two floors. Here, there are 9 large rooms and a spacious living kitchen that has just been completely modernized. All technical kitchen appliances are available, including a new dishwasher, new induction stoves, a convection air fryer, a rice cooker, and both drip coffee and fully automatic coffee machines. Normal kitchen utensils such as plates, cutlery, etc., are also provided, so you don’t have to bring or buy anything new.

Your room comes with a 140cm bed, as well as a desk and wardrobe. The rent for the room is €260, and all costs, including electricity, water, heating, and internet, are already included.

The university can be reached from the flat in less than 5 minutes by bike or 10 minutes on foot. In addition, a bus stop is located less than 1 minute away. From there, you have good connections to the train station or the city center. Additionally, Rewe, Edeka, and Aldi are just a few minutes’ walk away, making daily shopping quick and easy.

Our property is also located directly by the Oker river and the Inselwall Park is very close by.

Your room is furnished with a bed, desk, and wardrobe.

The floor has just been newly installed and the walls freshly painted.

The kitchen has been modernized and is fully equipped, including various technical appliances like a coffee machine, sandwich maker, etc.

Basically, everything you might need is there.

Flat Life

We enjoy spending time together, whether it’s indoors with a relaxed card or board game evening, playing Mario Kart on the projector, or watching a movie together. Recently, we even built a sauna in the garden, which is especially popular in the winter.

In the summer, we take advantage of the weather by playing Spikeball and Flunkyball in the park, going to the lake, or taking our canoes out on the Oker, which we can launch directly in front of the property.

Additionally, we have a weekly joint judo session in our basement dojo, which also houses a small home gym with everything needed for a regular workout.

We also occasionally invite friends over and wind down summer evenings in the garden with cool drinks or enjoy public viewing during the European and World Championships.

During exam periods, we study together downstairs, and since we are at different stages in our studies, we can always exchange tips, study materials, or past exams. Essentially, we support each other in our studies, although individual and solo learners naturally do their own thing as well.

If you are an open-minded person or simply someone who is open to new experiences, who wants to enjoy their student life beyond just university, and who has a (sporty) enthusiasm for activities and joint adventures, you will fit in perfectly with us.
