Weserstraße is a bicycle street with little traffic noise. The apartment is situated in a particularly charming, lively neighborhood with many great cafés, bars, and restaurants. Playgrounds, numerous parks, and the Landwehrkanal are all very close by. The apartment is located on one of Berlin’s trendiest streets – right at the doorstep you can join in the vibrant life from the balcony. A wonderful elementary school is located just across the street.
It is well connected to public transportation (various U-Bahn lines and buses).
We renovated the apartment in 2014 (new electrical installation, freshly plastered walls, relocating the kitchen to the street side, a new bathroom with bathtub, and the wooden floors were sanded). The fitted kitchen with white multiplex fronts can be included in the sale. After 10 years, the walls need a new coat of paint and the floorboards require new sealing.
In 2014, the façade of the building was renovated and the balconies renewed. The roof had previously been replaced during the conversion of the attic apartments. The staircase was repainted about 3 years ago, and the courtyard has been landscaped and equipped with many bicycle stands. Currently, no construction work is planned.
