The 36 m² apartment features 2 generous, openly connected rooms, a separate shower room, and its own small utility room with a washing machine. The apartment has been extensively and elaborately modernized. It impresses with an interior that is both stylish and comfortable, is located in a well-maintained residential building within walking distance of the university, and leaves little to be desired in terms of furnishings, amenities, surroundings, and a friendly neighborhood – all with excellent transport connections.

On a compact area, it offers a 160 cm wide double bed, a sofa bed, a large mirrored wardrobe, a desk, a dining area with an integrated kitchen featuring a double ceramic cooktop, an oven, and everything needed for a comfortable work-life balance as well as to accommodate overnight guests if necessary.

A glazed shower cabin along with modern, custom-made thermal and blackout pleated blinds ensure a pleasant living, sleeping, and working environment, while tasteful decorative accents create a modern, functional, yet cozy living atmosphere. A large bicycle rack in the back yard (not visible from the street) is another attractive feature. Additionally, a parking space (50 €/month) and, if needed, a garage (90 €/month) can be rented directly with the building.

And the best part comes at the end:

The all-inclusive rent covers the base rent, additional costs, electricity, Wi‑Fi, towels & bed linen, an iron & ironing board, a hairdryer, a vacuum cleaner, cooking utensils & cutlery… everything is provided! Only a one-time cleaning fee of 150 € is due at the end of the tenancy. The deposit amounts to one month’s rent and can be provided either in cash or as a guarantee. The minimum rental period is 4 months, with the possibility of extension upon request and after consultation.

Smoking, pets, commercial services, and any alterations (such as drill holes or similar) are generally not allowed! However, everything else is open for discussion.

Regardless of your mode of transport (car, bicycle, public transport…) or even on foot, the building is very conveniently located: the Freiherr-von-Pfeiffer-Weg stop—with numerous tram and bus connections—is just nearby. Johannes Gutenberg University is within walking distance or just one stop away, and Mainz’s main station can be reached in only 2 stops. Shopping opportunities are merely a 5-minute walk away. Local residents especially appreciate HaMü – as the neighborhood is affectionately called by its residents – for both its excellent transport links to the city center and its close proximity to green spaces.

This means you simply unpack your suitcase, relax, or fire up your own computer and get started! A television can also be provided upon request.
