With two Deutsche Bahn AG train stations in the Weilerswist and Derkum districts, there are excellent connections in all directions at half-hour intervals – with the Eifel-Bahn from Cologne via Euskirchen to Trier and with the Voreifel-Bahn from Euskirchen to Bonn or Bad Münstereifel.
Direct bus connections exist to Euskirchen (from there also to Bonn), Brühl, and Swisttal-Heimerzheim.
