Unbuilt Plot for Sale to the Highest Bidder

The market of Hohenwart hereby announces that a building plot (St-Georg-Str. 17 a) in the Kerschberg II building area is being offered for sale to the highest bidder. The property is located near the center of Hohenwart as well as near the school and kindergarten/daycare. It covers an area of 315 square meters. The exact location of the property can be obtained at the municipal administration. A site plan is attached.

On October 27, 2025, during a non-public municipal council meeting, the bids will be opened and the property will be awarded. Bids must be submitted at the town hall no later than Monday, October 27, 2025, at 12:00 noon. Please submit your bid in a sealed envelope labeled “Bid for Building Plot Award Kerschberg II” to Markt Hohenwart, Marktplatz 2, 86558 Hohenwart.

The sale is conducted on the highest bid principle. The highest bidder will receive the award, provided that the bid reaches the minimum price of 155,925 euros. The property is sold as seen and without any warranty.

Should the highest bidder fail to sign the purchase contract within 30 days after the auction, the municipality reserves the right to award the property to the second highest bidder. Following the sale, construction must commence within five years and be completed no later than eight years after the date of sale.

The municipality reserves the right to cancel or modify the tender without giving any reason.
