Freinsheim, with about 5,000 inhabitants, is a wine town that is known beyond its borders for its old town and medieval city wall. The town of Freinsheim benefits from a well-developed infrastructure and is well-connected by the local railway and its proximity to the highways. Freinsheim is the seat of the administrative association, and it has kindergartens, a primary school, doctors, pharmacies, supermarkets, and a retirement home—all easily reachable on foot. The cultural scene in Freinsheim is also very diverse.
