Of all the end houses, it is the largest and the only one with a brick-clad gable side. At the time, we had a 1.5 m house extension built that spans the cellar and the ground floor. The garage (with an electrically operated door) is located directly next to the house, and in front of it is a parking space that has been fenced and equipped with a large gate since 2019.
The house is situated opposite the Hilden city forest. Just a two-minute walk and you can immerse yourself in nature with its scent, tranquility, and even encounter the occasional deer. In front of the house, at the edge of a lower-lying, non-developable meadow, flows the Itter stream. Schools, shopping facilities, and public transportation are in the immediate vicinity and easily accessible. The town center is about 3 km away.
As is well known, there are high-voltage pylons in the eastern part of Hilden – and indeed, there are some nearby. You can’t hear them, and you quickly get used to them. I and most of my neighbors have been living here for 27 years.
Immediately after moving in, the house was secured against burglaries: the front door, guest WC, kitchen, dressing room (formerly a child's room), basement window, and a side door from the living room leading to the garden were all protected.
All the windows have electric shutters (except for the roof windows). The living room, facing the garden, features a 3 m wide window in the form of a lift/sliding element, as well as a door leading to the side and to the garage. It is very pleasant that both the bathroom and the guest WC have windows. Around 2005, a child's room was converted into a dressing room with built-in wardrobes all around. The finished attic is fully usable and quite spacious – it would be easy to divide this large space into two parts. In 2007, the bathroom was renovated; a large walk-in shower was installed and the bathtub was removed (this could be reverted if desired). In 2012, I had bamboo parquet installed on the first floor.
The purchase price includes the fitted kitchen, an electric awning, the garden house, and the built-in wardrobes in the dressing room.
There is a partition declaration, which exists solely for building regulation reasons and does not, in any way, affect the ownership.
