The fitted kitchen is equipped with one dishwasher, two induction hobs, two ovens, two large refrigerator‐freezers, and a dining area. The two new, modern bathrooms each feature a large shower and a washing machine. The apartment was completely renovated, refurbished, and furnished in May 2025. The hallway lighting operates via a motion sensor.

The apartment is located in a quiet area. It is a 10‑minute bike ride, 7‑minute drive, or 17‑minute trip by public transport to the TH Köln campus; a 17‑minute drive takes you to the Bayerwerke/Chempark and the Japanese Garden.

The Weltersbachtal nature reserve is 16 minutes away by car (or 40 minutes by bike). Morsbroich Castle is 15 minutes away by car and 16 minutes by bike. Cologne Central Station is 42 minutes away by public transport, and the Cologne Trade Fair Center is 48 minutes away by public transport.

There is plenty of nature in the surroundings for jogging or hiking—for example, Odenthal is reachable in 14 minutes by car (31 minutes by bike), Tillmanns Park in 9 minutes by car (19 minutes by bike), and Ludwig Rehbock Park in 11 minutes by car (12 minutes by bike).

A weekly market is held in Lützenkirchen on Tuesdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Netto, Penny, and Aldi within walking distance, and further shopping opportunities available in Opladen.
