This is a standalone listed building from 1602 – a former farmhouse that was converted into a rental house with 5 self-contained apartments. The renovation was carried out as gently as possible in order to preserve the monument in the full extent of its historical building fabric, appearance, and listed values.
The apartment is located on the 1st upper floor and not only has a loggia – that is, a covered outdoor area – but also an approximately 20m² large roof terrace facing south. The roof terrace has its own staircase from the courtyard, so you can also access the living and dining area directly via the side entrance door.
Like the other apartments, it is wonderfully bright and has its own very special charm.
Of course, one can also reach the first floor from the staircase. There is a beautiful hallway featuring original clay infill dating back to the period of construction. The bathroom accessible from there has a toilet, washbasin, and bathtub. The two bedrooms are also located off the hallway, one of which has a dressing area.

Hallstadt is well-connected by bicycle to Bamberg. For example, in 15 to 20 minutes one can reach Feki, Maxplatz, or Sandstraße. It takes about 20 to 25 minutes by bike to Bamberg Ost and just under half an hour to Bug.
The well-known breweries (Wagner, Kemmern and Eichhorn, Dörfleins) can be reached by bicycle in about 15 minutes.
By car, you are just a few minutes away from the A70 motorway (exit 15 Hallstadt/Bamberg Nord/Dörfleins) or the commercial area. Downtown Bamberg is about 15 minutes away.

The building was completely renovated and expanded according to the energy standard of a KfW Efficiency House Monument. The interior walls are finished with a purely mineral, highly effective interior insulation plaster, and heating is provided centrally by a pellet heating system. Hot water is produced in a decentralized manner through modern, modulating instantaneous water heaters.

Caretaker Service
A caretaker service takes care of the essential work on the outdoor areas (sweeping, snow removal, watering of green areas by arrangement, etc.), cleans the staircase, and maintains the pellet heating system.
