Harlaching is one of Munich’s most prestigious and exclusive residential areas. This coveted villa district is located in the southeast and is naturally nestled between the banks of the Isar, the expansive forest areas of Perlacher Forst, and the Hellabrunn Zoo.
Location:
The plot/multi-family house is located at Reinekestraße 2, a residential street not far from the “Großhesseloher Bridge”. The Isar riverbank (“Hochleite” with the Isar floodplain) can be reached on foot in a few minutes, it is only a few minutes by bike to the “WaWi” beer garden at Waldwirtschaft Großhesselohe and to Gutshof Menterschwaige, and it is only a few minutes’ walk to the “Schilcherweg” tram stop (TRAM 25).
Public Transportation (ÖPNV):
Good connections: Approximately 240 m to the “Schilcherweg” tram stop (TRAM 25, connecting to Max-Weber-Platz via Wettersteinplatz (U1) or towards Grünwald).
After a short ride (11 minutes according to the schedule), you reach Wettersteinplatz (U1). There, there is excellent access to Munich’s S-Bahn and U-Bahn network (U1, with scheduled travel time to the main station under 10 minutes). The scheduled travel time to Munich’s main station is in total less than half an hour, about 30 minutes to Marienplatz, and about 1 hour to Munich Airport.
Individual Transport:
Good access via Geiselgasteigstraße and Grünwalder Str. to the “Mittlerer Ring” (approx. 4.6 km) and further to the city (approx. 3.5 km). The travel time to the city center is approximately 15–20 minutes in smooth traffic. Via ring and bypass roads, one can also easily reach the A8 or the A95. In the neighboring villa suburb of Grünwald, the town center (Marktplatz) can be reached by car in about 8 minutes.
Infrastructure:
Excellent infrastructure: Several daycare centers are within a few minutes’ walk; for example, Hänsel + Gretel KiTa GmbH is about a 2-minute walk away.
Various schools can be reached in about 10–15 minutes by bike.
Shopping facilities, supermarkets, and restaurants are only a few tram stops away. Medical care is particularly well ensured, thanks to the nearby Munich Klinik Harlaching with maximum care services, the Hospital for Naturopathic Medicine in Harlaching, and a medical center.
Harlaching overall offers an excellent starting point for leisure activities of all kinds, also in the Munich area. The Perlacher Forst in particular provides everything one needs for nature-oriented activities in this already green and quiet district.
