The properties are equipped with fiber-optic connections, and wastewater disposal is carried out via a separate system. Municipality Kirchensittenbach covers an area of 44 square kilometers and is home to approximately 2,200 residents spread over 21 districts, located in the scenic region of the Franconian Alb. Quaint village inns, traditional country taverns, and modern conference hotels warmly welcome guests.

It is the most sparsely populated community in the Nürnberger Land district, with no industry but numerous craft businesses. The Sittenbachtal is a very green, rural valley. Typical hop houses give the villages a charming appearance and attest to a once thriving hop cultivation. The municipality is a year-round destination for those seeking relaxation, attracting excursionists, hikers, and mountain bikers in the summer and skiers and cross-country skiers in the winter. Long-established inns and hotels invite you to stop for a meal.

The cultural offerings range from the traditional church fair (Kirwa) and local festivals to musical events, vernissages, and exhibitions by renowned artists. Particularly noteworthy is Hohenstein Castle, situated at an altitude of 634 m with a history dating back to the 11th century, featuring its herb and medicinal plant garden, and the lovingly restored Tetzel Castle from the 16th century, which opens its doors for cultural events (such as the summer cinema) and private celebrations.

Expansive hiking trails and walking routes allow you to enjoy the varied landscape. In winter, Hohenstein offers fun for the whole family with its ski and toboggan run as well as two tow lifts.

The municipality’s best-known location is Hohenstein. At the highest inhabited point in Mittelfranken, the castle towers over the Franconian-Central Bavarian Jura at 634 m. The history of Hohenstein Castle dates back to the 11th century.

In the main town of Kirchensittenbach, the "Tetzel Castle," the "Frühmesserhaus," and the "St. Bartholomew’s Church" shape the town center.

Oberkrumbach, a picture-perfect Franconian village with its many half-timbered houses and the splendor of cherry blossoms during the cherry bloom, is also a highlight.
