The front apartment was ready for occupancy in 1965, while the rear apartment was completed in several stages in 1997. Our father was originally a bricklayer and laid every stone and every clinker brick in this house himself.

The property is fully basemented (approximately 170 m²) and some basement rooms have daylight as well as several direct, ground-level exits to the outside. There are two large rooms that have also been temporarily used for residential purposes; however, they are equally suitable as offices or workshops. The house needs renovation. Although all the windows are thermal panes, those in the front part of the house date back to 1965 and should eventually be replaced. The solid wood strip parquet flooring in three rooms has been discolored by sunlight and could be sanded down and resealed. Wallpapering or a fresh coat of paint is recommended in most rooms. The exterior façade could certainly be improved in appearance.

The roof was re-covered in 2019 (flat roof). The heating system (oil, 2016) is in good condition, and a new burner was installed in autumn 2025. For hot water production, a solar collector on the roof helps fill a large hot water tank in the heating cellar. The heating system has recently been serviced, and the chimney sweep was also here in January to check that everything is in order. The chimney on the roof was re-clad last year.
