The city of Fürth is located in Middle Franconia in Bavaria and, together with Nuremberg and Erlangen, belongs to the economically strong Nuremberg metropolitan region. With over 132,000 residents, it is the second largest city in the administrative district. Particularly striking is the charming old town center, which, unlike many other cities, largely survived World War II unscathed and today is a popular destination for strolls and cultural discoveries.
