He had every stone and every brick (clinker brick) of this house laid by his own hands.
The property is fully cellarized (approx. 170 m²) and several cellar rooms have daylight and multiple direct, ground-level accesses to the outside. There are two large rooms that have also been temporarily used for residential purposes. However, they are also suitable as offices or workshop rooms. The roof was newly re-covered in 2019 (flat roof). The heating system (oil, 2016) is in good condition. For hot water preparation, a solar collector on the roof helps to fill a large hot water tank in the heating cellar. The heating system has been recently serviced, and the chimney sweep even came in January to check that everything was in order. The chimney on the roof was newly clad this year.
