Woodsy, rustic, and unique with an unconventional layout – not everything is new (but the mattress, couch, and chairs are) in our bright, attractive, fully furnished non-smoking apartment with an open plan, a south-facing balcony including an awning, a wardrobe, a shower room, and a small storage room on the living level (1st floor) in the green suburban area of Friedrichsdorf-Burgholzhausen, unfortunately without the possibility to keep pets. The quiet building with five furnished small apartments has proven over many years to be a cozy temporary home for self-paying working individuals (mostly commuters) who want to stay at least three months (after which a tenant-friendly six-week notice period to the end of any month applies).

The transport connections in the 3,500-inhabitant district are very convenient (with a city bus stop very close to the rental property linking to the S-Bahn S5). The DB train station, also within easy walking distance, connects to Friedrichsdorf, Rosbach, and Friedberg; by car it’s only a few kilometers to the A5 exit and the B3.

The green surroundings are inviting for jogging and cycling.

You can move in with just a suitcase without any moving expenses, as (almost) everything for relaxed living is provided: a fitted kitchen (unfortunately without a dishwasher) but including plenty of dishes, a fridge-freezer, microwave, etc., and a washing machine.

A sleeping area with a 1 m wide bed (with an adjustable bed frame), bedding, and bed linen is available.

In the spacious living area with a (convertible) couch there are both cupboards as well as dining and workspace – see photos.

The flat-rate rent, which is well-plannable for tenants (fixed for at least one year depending on energy price developments), includes, besides the usual ancillary charges, a fiber-optic WLAN connection with a wide range of TV channels. The security deposit is due before the handover of keys (payment into a savings account).
