Flat to rent 4+kk • 112 m² without real estateBrunnenweg 2A, , Saxony
Brunnenweg 2A, , SaxonyPublic transport 4 minutes of walking • ParkingHealthy living in a wonderful landscape.
The apartment has 112 m² of living space and was designed for families with two children, for home office use, or (after installation of a stairlift) for seniors. It is located on the first upper floor of a newly built semi-detached house featuring a large balcony and plenty of storage space in the (unheated) attic.
You enter the house through a separate entrance where, on the ground floor, there is ample space for a cloakroom. A beech wood staircase leads you to the apartment on the upper floor. A spacious hallway with storage options gives access to the large, open-plan kitchen. You then continue through the living area to the balcony. The bedroom has a small dressing area, and both children’s rooms are spacious with large windows that let in plenty of light.
In addition to the main bathroom with bathtub and shower, there is a guest WC. The utility room offers enough space for a washing machine, dryer, and an area for household chores. The entrance, shower, and terraces are accessible in a barrier-free manner, with all doors correspondingly wide.
Each apartment comes with its own plot that always includes a garden area in proportion to the size of the apartment and is completely fenced. In addition to the mailbox system, each apartment has an intercom with video functionality – so you can see who is standing at the gate.
The apartment also comes with a terrace at the lower level. Adjacent terraces have been provided with privacy screens, and with some tall-growing thuya trees complementing them, soon no one will be able to see your table.
The plants shown in the sketches – such as hedges and trees – have already been planted. The depiction corresponds to the mature size of the respective plants. There will still be room left for your own gardening ideas.
On the very spacious balcony you will enjoy a sunny spot and a beautiful view.
Also included with the apartment is a parking space for a car as well as an additional carport spot. Cabling for an electric charging station is provided. For storing bicycles, garden tools, etc., there is a lockable utility shed.
To keep operating costs low, the houses have been built to KfW-40 efficiency standards. They are very well insulated and outfitted with triple-glazed windows. A ventilation system provides regulated fresh air with over 90% heat recovery and asthma-friendly air filtration.
The houses are heated with the most modern heat pumps, which also heat the hot water required in the bathroom. The kitchen’s hot water is heated using an instant water heater. You are responsible for your personal household electricity costs, but an installed photovoltaic system will help reduce these expenses. Additionally, water from a cistern is available for garden irrigation.
In conclusion: The houses will be fully QNG-certified. Essentially, it’s all about healthy living. Every building component – down to the last joint mortar – has been tested for harmful substances and verified. Sustainability is also assessed for all components, not only regarding their CO₂ footprint but also in terms of how they are manufactured, transported, and later recycled.
Aging in place is taken into account: every tenant should be able to live independently and in their apartment for as long as possible. A stairlift can be retrofitted without structural modifications, and all doors and passageways are designed to be wide enough for walkers and barrier-free.
Of course, all this comes with certification and a (correspondingly high) price. However, we do not want to renovate again in a few years and consequently have to raise the rent. The rental contract will be an indexed lease – rent increases are solely linked to the inflation rate, which is fair for both parties. The minimum rental period is one year, after which the statutory notice periods apply.
Updated: OUR PLAYGROUND IS FINISHED!
In Cunnersdorf, a district of Kamenz, a small new settlement has been developed featuring seven houses with two residential units each. The settlement also includes a playground and plenty of green space. There used to be a watermill, which was fed, among other sources, by the mill pond. Another inflow came from the overflow of the fountain – this now gives its name to the small settlement “Brunnenweg.” The project fills a gap in local development, preserving farmland while creating new living space.
The Kamenz district of Cunnersdorf is nearly 800 years old and is located about 5 km from Kamenz. The area is rural, characterized by pond management, and well-developed for tourism. You can expect plenty of tranquility and nature – yet everything is centrally located. In the town there is an inn with excellent cuisine, a hall, and a beer garden.
Currently, two bus lines (771 and 788) serve Cunnersdorf. The nearest stops are at the kindergarten and the old nursery, both about 250 meters away.
Kamenz itself, known as the “Lessing city,” has just over 17,000 inhabitants and is located in Saxony, in western Upper Lusatia at the foot of the Hutberg. The nearest highway junctions on the A4 at Pulsnitz and Burkau are each about 15 kilometers away. The Ruhland junction on the A13 is about 30 km away. Kamenz station is the terminus of S-Bahn Line 8 (Dresden – Radeberg – Kamenz). City buses operate on three lines within town. Work is currently underway to reactivate the former Senftenberg-Kamenz railway line, which will once again provide direct train access to Cunnersdorf.
Kamenz Airport, located on the northeastern outskirts of the town, is one of the most attractive and popular transport airfields in Saxony. At the same time, it is also one of the oldest and – above all – one of the few still active airports in Germany.
Economically, the town hosts many small and medium-sized enterprises in the sectors of textiles, mechanical engineering, kaolin processing, and plastics processing. The Dresden North area, home to the growing chip industry, is easily reached, about 40 km away.
Kamenz has several hotels, restaurants, and a small, lively town center. Church and culture are supported, tourism is further developed, and the network of cycling and hiking paths is constantly being expanded. Among other routes, the ecumenical Way of St. James passes through several districts.
Attention: In some portals the new Brunnenweg is not yet displayed correctly. Google Maps shows the correct location – simply search for “Brunnenweg 6 in Kamenz.”
Access to the front door is available either via a staircase or a senior-friendly ramp. The bathrooms are tiled, while all the other rooms are fitted with a very high-quality design floor in light oak. This flooring is sound-absorbing, easy to maintain, and very robust. All windows are equipped with electric external shutters.
Our apartments already come with a complete, very high-quality fitted kitchen with plenty of storage space. All kitchen appliances are from the latest, most economical generation by SIEMENS, and a microwave is also included. In the bathroom there is already an LED-illuminated mirrored cabinet.
An installed satellite system enables classic TV reception even without an internet or cable contract. For those who do not prefer Wi‑Fi, Ethernet sockets are also provided in the rooms to distribute the internet without radiation. Since the fourth quarter of 2025, Cunnersdorf has also been supplied with fiber-optic connectivity. The houses are already pre-prepared with conduits so installation can start immediately. If fiber isn’t desired, you can still enjoy reliably good wireless reception from two providers in Cunnersdorf.
If you are interested, please first send your complete contact details. Briefly let us know when and with how many people you would move in and whether you have a pet. Your data will be stored exclusively on our secure server and then deleted. There will be no sharing with any third parties. I will get in touch with you as soon as possible, and a viewing can be arranged shortly thereafter.
The specified living area is of course measured precisely. The garden areas belonging to the apartments have not yet been measured exactly, so the size may vary slightly. We have built several apartments with identical floor plans and features, so the photos are not always from the exact same apartment. Please feel free to visit on site and schedule a viewing. Keeping small pets is possible, but requires our approval.
By the way:
There are also two other apartment sizes available. They will be published in the coming days – also search under “House.” Additionally, search on Google for “Brunnenweg in Kamenz” to find more articles and information about the Brunnenweg settlement.
