Mühlengut zu Glas

The Mühlengut zu Glas is a historic building from the 14th century in the Flachgau municipality of Elsbethen and is one of the listed properties in the community.

History

In 1898, the Ursulines acquired the Mühlengut, which became the St. Josefsheim. The Josefsheim formerly served as a retreat for the sisters, who at that time were based in Gstättengasse in Salzburg. Until its sale in 1972, the Josefsheim housed an agricultural school for girls.

On the premises, there is a Marian grotto set into the rock.
