• In 2025, a heat pump was installed. Until then, the house was heated exclusively by a water-based fireplace. Additionally, 12 m² of solar thermal collectors on the roof are installed for hot water preparation. Through the combination of the heat pump, an eco-friendly electricity tariff, and the wood-fired heating, the house is currently heated CO₂-neutrally. From the end of April until the end of September, hot water is provided via the collectors on the roof, eliminating the need for the heat pump during this period. At other times, the solar thermal system supports the heating and thus significantly reduces the electricity and firewood requirements.
• Underfloor heating throughout the house.
• Decentralized ventilation system with heat recovery (which can be allergy-friendly with special filters if needed).
• Central vacuum system: with 4 outlets, every corner of the house can be reached. The exhaust air is filtered in the utility room and then directed directly outside, so there is no typical "vacuum cleaner exhaust" with its fine particles and odors.
• All 6 windows on the south side are equipped with light-metal external roller shutters with individual control and can be adjusted according to the sun’s position using the switches.
• The house has 2 telephone connections. The living room, bedroom, and study are equipped with LAN sockets.
• Fiber-optic cables have already been installed up to the property boundary and will be connected soon.
