Bad Bevensen – A Paradise of Relaxation and Connection with Nature
In the very heart of the Lüneburg Heath lies a small yet truly precious gem of Northern Germany: Bad Bevensen. This spa town, gently nestled in the idyllic landscape of Lower Saxony, is a place that gently puts the hustle and bustle of everyday life aside and invites the soul to take a deep breath. Here, time seems to flow a little slower, the air a little purer, and the smiles of the people a bit warmer.
The jewel of the town – the iodine saltwater thermal spa – is known far beyond the region. From the very first step into the warm pools of the thermal bath, you are enveloped by a noticeable lightness. The healing water, enriched with valuable minerals, not only helps the body to relax but also allows the mind to let go and reflect. A stay in the thermal spa is like a journey to oneself – everything here is designed to promote harmony and well-being. The lovingly designed sauna landscapes, the gentle colors, and the soft sound of water create an oasis of calm that is rarely found in this quality elsewhere.
But Bad Bevensen has much more to offer than its thermal spa. The extensive spa park, which stretches through the center of the town, invites you to take relaxed walks. In spring, the park bursts into a magnificent array of colors and displays a diversity of plants that will astonish any nature lover. Here, one can immediately feel the healing power of nature: the fresh air fills the lungs, the gentle murmur of the streams soothes the mind, and the rustling of the leaves seems like nature’s soft melody. And for those seeking a more intensive encounter with nature, the Kneipp barefoot path offers an experience that refreshes both body and senses.
In the surroundings of Bad Bevensen, there are also many gems to discover. The Lüneburg Heath, with its gentle waves and expansive, lilac carpets of heather, invites long hikes and bike tours. In the late summer months, when the heath is in full bloom, the landscape is bathed in a unique spectrum of colors that almost seem magical. Here, the hiker and nature lover discover an almost untouched world of serene beauty, evoking a sense of humility and gratitude.
Not far from Bad Bevensen lies the old Hanseatic city of Lüneburg, a place full of history and culture. Lüneburg’s old town is a work of art in itself: the characteristic brick Gothic architecture, the winding alleys, and the charming little cafés invite you to a day full of discoveries. Here, you can feel the pulse of bygone eras while continually being surprised by the vibrancy the city exudes.
The cozy living room with a dining area and open fireplace invites you to linger. There is a spacious terrace and a guest WC is also available.
The apartment is ideally to be rented to a couple or a senior shared apartment. However, a family with a maximum of 2 children is also welcome.
No broker’s fee!
The new dishwasher (€650), 5 ceiling lamps, the roller blind in the guest WC, and the neutral gray curtains in the living room and hallway are available for purchase by the tenant for €1,000.
Dog ownership is not allowed.
In the advance payment for heating costs of €210, there is an electricity cost advance of €50 included. There is a separate meter for this. You do not pay this amount of €210 to the landlord, but to an energy supplier of your choice.
The wiring and connection sockets for internet and cable TV are available in the apartment. You are free to choose your provider. A fiber optic connection from Lünecom is in the building and can be activated freely.
The rent is adjusted annually by 2.5% (average inflation rate) (graduated rent contract). However, you will not face any additional net rent increase during the entire term of the contract.
