It comprises a 3-room apartment (rooms, kitchen, bathroom) plus a large room used as a cellar/storage area within the apartment, an additional storage room in the kitchen, and a guest toilet. The bright bathroom features a bathtub, a level-accessible walk-in shower, a window, and ample storage space for a dryer, washing machine, and cabinet. In the kitchen, there are two kitchen units including a stove, oven, and sink, which are included in the rent. Overall, the high-quality features include floor-to-ceiling French doors in the living/dining area, parquet floors, tiles, underfloor heating, and a ventilation system with a pollutant filter—especially suitable for allergy sufferers.
The apartment comes with two terraces (one large facing south and one small in front of the living room) plus one car parking space (a second parking space can be rented). The picturesque wine town of Kasel is located 7 km from Trier. From here, you have quick access to Luxembourg (approximately 10–12 minutes to the Luxembourg motorway)—even faster than from Trier itself. There are four routes from Kasel to Trier city (via the valley and motorway taking about 13 minutes each to the ring road; 15 minutes to the university; 20 minutes to Petrisberg; and 20 minutes to the University of Applied Sciences on the opposite bank), so no matter where you work in Trier or Luxembourg, you’re well connected. There is excellent bus service (Trier train station and the university are both about 30 minutes away), with a bus stop just a 5‑minute walk away. For shopping, you have facilities directly at Wasgau or Norma between Kasel and Waldrach, and there is a bakery, doctors, and a pharmacy in a neighboring town. Kasel also offers a daycare center, a primary school, and an active community life (including music groups, an adult education center, a fire department, a youth organization, a senior meeting point, etc.).
