You will be living here in Missen-Wilhams, in the Wiederhofen district, in a very quiet little village at just under 1000 meters with a breathtaking view of the Thaler Höhe: in summer, young cattle graze here, and in winter it becomes a small ski resort – perfect for beginners or families.

Right from your front door, in summer, beautiful hiking trails open up to various managed Alpine areas. Mountain bikers will also find plenty of fun here! In winter, you can start snowshoe hikes or ski tours right at your doorstep.

Up here, tourism is minimal – even in the high season it remains peaceful. Immenstadt is only a 15-minute drive away, Kempten, Isny, Sonthofen, and Oberstaufen can be reached in 25 minutes, and Oberstdorf in 35 minutes. Larger ski areas can be found in the nearby Kleinwalsertal, Sonthofen, Oberstdorf, and Oberjoch. If you enjoy swimming, you can do so in the Alpsee or Niedersonthofen Lake. The leisure pools “Aquaria” in Oberstaufen and “Wonnemar” in Sonthofen invite you to enjoy wellness and swimming.

Missen-Wilhams is a municipality with a bakery (complete with a lovely café), several restaurants, a small but excellent brewery, a kindergarten, a primary school, a large outdoor swimming pool, and a tennis court.

You are well provided for medically by a dedicated country doctor, and the two neighboring communities each have a general practitioner’s office. In the larger of these communities, there is a pharmacy that will even deliver your medications to your home, as well as a REWE and a Nettomarkt.

Most of the flooring is made of genuine wood panels, with the rest being vinyl.

In the living room there is a fireplace stove, which can, if desired, also heat the large open-plan kitchen.
