Regarding the sales object, this is a semi-detached house in need of renovation. The electrical and potable water connections have only just been renewed this year. The wastewater connection is also functioning and is connected to a communal septic tank.
Unfortunately, the existing oil heating system has frozen and is therefore unusable. According to a heating engineer, repairing it is no longer worthwhile. For the small house, there are alternative options, such as electric heating combined with a stove or a liquefied petroleum gas heating system. The electrical system in the house needs to be renewed, and likewise, the sanitary installations are likely unusable or outdated. The property has a full basement, which provides space for special activities or can be used as storage. The house itself does not show any structural damage; the windows were replaced during a renovation in 1999, and the roof and floors are in good condition. It is a solid masonry building. On the property, there is an open, deep well. The outbuilding is severely damaged and is probably not worth preserving.
The property is located in a very quiet suburban area. The distance to Ducherow is about 10 km. There, you will also find the train station with connections to the Regional Express, which goes to Anklam and further on to Stralsund. By car, the Baltic Sea island of Usedom is reachable in less than an hour. Additionally, larger cities like Neubrandenburg, Greifswald, and Pasewalk are all less than an hour’s drive away. The highway connection to the A20 is about 30 km away. Depending on the direction from which you come, Neubrandenburg-East or Pasewalk-South is recommended. Driving on the A20 is generally a pure pleasure, with vast, empty stretches!
