In addition to great shopping opportunities, both visitors and residents can also enjoy an extensive cultural and recreational program. The Fledermaus experience exhibition, the Museum Alt-Segeberger Bürgerhaus, the Kalkberg caves, and the Marienkirche are just a few examples. Nationwide renowned Möbel-Kraft AG has its headquarters here, as do the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and the Medical Association of Schleswig-Holstein. The town also boasts various schools – including an adult education center.
