Through the shallow geothermal system with storage probes, cooling in summer and heating in winter is possible. For this purpose, 5 geo-coaxial probes with a depth of 48 m were installed on the property. A brine-water heat pump with a heating capacity of 7.2 – 20.1 kW is installed. To utilize solar energy, a PV system with an installed capacity of 20 kWp is available on the roof.
Underfloor heating, as well as wall surface heating, ensures an even room temperature with warm floors and walls. In cooling mode, the bathrooms can be heated separately during the summer.
For a pleasant indoor climate, a clay plaster was applied to selected wall surfaces. It regulates moisture, supports heat retention, and binds pollutants and odors.
