To the west of Bad Kleinen, an end moraine ridge rises along the Schweriner See, towering up to 40 m above the lake level. The Schweriner See is connected to the Wismar Bay via the Lostener See, located to the west of the Losten district, through the Wallenstein Ditch (which runs through the municipality’s territory).
