As the most important railway hub in southeastern Bavaria, it is an ideal starting point for excursions into the mountains and to Chiemsee, while its pedestrian zone with many specialty stores invites shopping. The Lokwelt and the town museum make the town an interesting destination for culture enthusiasts, and the gastronomic offerings with beer gardens and cafés complete the experience.
