Northeast of Beinstein, the Buocher Höhe rises—a spur of the Swabian-Franconian Forest. The village sits at an altitude between 223 and 270 m above NN. Agriculture shapes the area around the village; besides fields, the landscape is dominated by orchards, and in Großmulde, wine is also cultivated as part of the Württemberg wine region. Beinstein also encompasses forested areas to the northeast located in an urban enclave beyond the spur of the Kleinheppacher Kopf of the forest mountains, a feature noted in the vicinity of Waiblingen.

On the ground floor, you can leave your coat and perhaps store cleaning supplies under the staircase. This staircase leads to the upper floor where the living-dining area is located.
