This modern 5-room apartment accommodates 6 people and features a spacious living room with traditional architectural details, a dining area for 6 people with an extra bed, and a Smart TV. It also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, electric heating, and a fully equipped designer kitchen with a hob, stove, microwave, cookware, a DiLonghi cappuccino machine, and tableware for 12 people.

The main bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub, an XL shower, a washing machine and dryer, a hairdryer, and underfloor heating. Adjacent to it, you’ll find a smaller WC room with a sink. There are two large bedrooms with queen-size beds (180 cm wide), spacious wardrobes, a lounge area in one, and a desk with a dressing table in the other. The third bedroom features a double bed (140 cm wide), a built-in wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. In the living room, you will find a niche with an extra bed and an area that can be separated by a curtain.

Additional storage is available, as well as a closet with towels and bed linen in the second hallway, which leads to the winter garden and balcony—a peaceful haven where you can enjoy sunsets over the mountains. Throughout the apartment, there are wooden floors and tiled bathrooms. You’ll find all the amenities you need.

Our apartment is located in the old town of Mondsee in a quiet area, within walking distance of the bakery, cafés, shops, and the picturesque market square just around the corner, with the lake only a few minutes’ walk away. Around the corner is a bus station with services to Salzburg and other surrounding cities. Because Mondsee is located directly on the A1 motorway, you are only 20 minutes from Salzburg. Munich is a 90-minute drive away, Vienna lies about two hours to the east, and Italy about two hours to the south.

Experience the spectacular Salzkammergut region with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt. Enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear Mondsee, sailing, stand-up paddling, foiling, or kitesurfing. Mondsee is only about 30 minutes from the Red Bull headquarters in Fuschl, so you’ll find many athletes among the generally laid-back locals who simply enjoy their coffee or wine, or savor world-class pastries and gelato that even rivals that of Italy.

In summer, attend the world-famous Salzburg Music Festival, join a yoga session on the Mondsee pier (or even on a stand-up paddleboard), go hiking, or visit the nearby Europa Kloster Gut Aich. You can also visit Father Pausch’s herb garden to pick up some homemade teas, essences, and liqueurs, or book a painting, mandala, or another type of course.

The local farmers’ market in the main square just around the corner offers local delicacies every Saturday morning. In winter, enjoy first-class skiing right at your doorstep and take part in some of the region’s most picturesque traditions, such as local Christmas markets (one of the best is just next to the apartment), the Krampus parade, the carnival parade, the Gloeckler run, and more.
