“Freiraumquadrat” offers you flexibly bookable rooms that have been designed with interior architectural expertise, yet free from transient trends. Each room stands on its own, each room is unique and has its own effect. Modern furniture harmonizes with antique pieces. Most items have soft, flowing, organically gentle forms. Color and light also play an important role—they not only move us emotionally through our visual perception, but also have an immediate effect on our nervous system. The earthy wall colors are present but not overwhelming, harmonizing with the tones of the respective furnishings. The lighting in the rooms is not solely functional but creates atmosphere. The result is a space that exudes comfort, security, and tranquility. A free space amidst the squares for your ideas, your conversations.

The rooms are intended as a flexible (temporary) solution. For example, if you want to build up a customer base before investing in your own space, or if you only have sporadic needs.

- For everyone who engages in conversations: whether a coach, consultant, trainer, mediator, alternative practitioner, …

- Suitable for both one-on-one and group settings

- Also ideal for work groups, project teams, study groups, or smaller seminars/continuing education events.

- They can also be used by, for instance, small yoga groups or postnatal exercise classes (room “Morgennebel”).

Do you do something different? Just inquire—I'm curious about your ideas! It’s important, however, that things remain calm (so no drum therapy or the like).

How does it work?

To use the space, a room usage agreement is concluded. The rooms can then be booked online as needed and based on availability – spontaneously or up to several weeks in advance. A room designed to your wishes, with no fixed commitment, no acquisition costs, no high ongoing costs, and minimal risk.

All rooms are available from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 22:00 (Wednesday closed from 9:15 to 14:15) and on Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 and 22:00.

The rooms are located in Mannheimer Quadrat C2 20 on the second floor of a late-classical city house built around 1850, featuring a beautiful staircase with flat, very pleasant-to-walk-on steps (no elevator).

The Paradeplatz is almost right around the corner (approx. 200 m). It’s a 16-minute walk (1.3 km) to the main train station, or you can walk 300 meters to the tram stop and be at the main station in 3 minutes.

Parking is easily available in the four surrounding parking garages C1, D5, D3, and Kaufhof (walking time 1–3 minutes). Street parking is also available with a parking ticket.

The conversation rooms are furnished with multiple seating options (armchairs, sofas, chairs), side tables, a table or desk, a carpet, curtains, indirect lighting, a clock, a wool blanket, various decorative objects, and coat hooks. The room “Morgennebel” additionally features three wall-mounted whiteboards (each 80 x 110 cm) and, for its furnishing for group settings, will have stackable chairs available. Mobile whiteboards are available for the other two rooms. In the waiting area there are several seating options and a small selection of reading material.

In the kitchenette you will find glasses, cups, coasters, plates, bowls, cutlery, and a kettle. WLAN is available. The bookable rooms do not have a telephone connection or water connections.
