It’s ideal for commuters who want to return home at the weekend, as the main train station is only a few minutes’ walk away. The apartment has been lovingly furnished—this is what creates the incomparable charm of a period apartment. It is situated in an Art Nouveau building from the turn of the century on the third floor of our building. The view of the greenery over the rooftops of the city is very calming and serene. You will surely feel right at home with us.
Our building is located in Elberfeld in a quiet area near the city, a little north above the Elberfeld town hall. With its decorative facades and courtyards from the Gründerzeit, it is extremely popular with artists and students. It takes about 7 minutes on foot to the city center and about 15 minutes to the train station. If you wish to go to the university, a bus runs to the cafeteria stop at Max‑Horkheimer Straße. The Bayer AG pharmaceutical research center can be reached in 15 minutes by bus (line 613) without having to change. The Bayer factory on Friedrich‑Ebert Straße is easily accessible via the Wuppertal suspension railway. The St. Josef hospital on Bergstraße as well as the Agaplesion Bethesda on Hainstraße are just a few minutes’ walk away. In fine weather it’s well worth a trip to the Nordbahntrasse (www.nordbahntrasse.de)—ideal for a walk, jogging, inline skating or cycling, as there is a nearly 23‑km long, almost flat footpath and cycle path here (which is more the exception than the rule in Wuppertal). The Nordbahntrasse greatly enhances the attractiveness of the location. There is an access point for cyclists and pedestrians at Mirker train station as well as at Unterer Dorrenberg.

The bedroom overlooks the greenery and features a double bed (1.50 m wide) with a comfortable mattress. A cot for a baby can be provided upon request. The spacious wardrobe offers plenty of storage, and bed linen and towels are available for use. There’s also a 32‑inch TV so you can watch from bed.
The cozy bathroom comes with a bathtub and a window. It includes a halogen mirror and a 45‑cm washing machine; a tumble dryer is located halfway up the stairs.
The kitchen is equipped with a table and two chairs, a 45‑cm dishwasher, an oven with a ceramic cooktop, a fridge‑freezer combination, a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle, and more. Plates, glasses, cutlery, and all the necessary kitchen accessories are available in sufficient quantities.
In the entrance area there is a hallway with a cloakroom.
The living area features a comfortable Italian Natuzzi couch, an armchair, and a coffee table, along with a 43‑inch TV, plus a wall cabinet and chest of drawers. A second living area offers a large desk, a dining table with a bench and chairs, as well as a day bed for guests.
The monthly rent for this cozy, fully furnished 3‑room apartment is €935, which includes operating costs/ancillary charges and Wi‑Fi (€770 excl. utilities + €175 ancillary charges). Your heating and energy costs are not included in the rent, as these are measured on your individual meters; advance payments must be transferred monthly to the energy company. The minimum rental period is 6 months; after that, the contract will continue indefinitely with statutory notice. A security deposit of €2,000 is required upon signing the contract. A mandatory final cleaning fee is charged from €85 upward at a rate of €25 per hour, depending on the work involved. This is a non‑smoking apartment. A parking space in an adjacent underground garage costs €60 per month.
