All the large and small shops (Allnatura, Kare, Mediamarkt, Hofpfister, Dehner, Liedl, Hagebaumarkt, and many more), from bakeries to the citizens’ office (which offers plenty of programs for seniors), and many medical facilities are in the immediate vicinity. The U3 station Forstenrieder Allee is just a 3-minute walk away. South Park, with many sports options, is a 6-minute walk, and the Süd Bad with sauna is 12 minutes on foot.

By Bike

There are numerous well-developed bike paths from here. The Siemenswerke station is also not far by bike – from there, the trains run directly from the city towards Bavaria’s southern gems, for example, Tegernsee.

By Car

To go for a swim in Percha on Lake Starnberg, you encounter only one traffic light (this even applies to Salzburg) and in just 15 minutes you can jump in the water. Despite the short distance to the Garmisch highway exit, the area remains wonderfully quiet and green. The birds replace the alarm clock.
