The building, Zehntscheune 2, is a fully renovated cultural monument of the highest standard. It is part of the ensemble of listed buildings in the former Zehntscheune of Bad Nauheim. The building is unmistakable due to its very well-known arched passageway, serving as a gateway through the building. Our building is the former residence of the last coachman of Bad Nauheim – the so-called Metzger’s residential house.

The name “Zehntscheune” comes from the neighboring building, the Burgtor, which was formerly used as a tithe barn for storing grain.

The house is located at the upper/western end of Friedrichstraße (pedestrian zone). The location is enchanting. The ensemble is framed by historic buildings.

You can park right in front of the building in a public parking lot. There is always a spot available here. Just be sure to watch out for parking tickets! After 6:00 p.m., you can park free of charge in the adjacent parking lot of the town hall.

The apartment comes with a fitted kitchen. In addition, each living area features wonderfully preserved original details. These include period light fixtures, arched ornamentations, historical floor coverings, and additional surfaces conserved behind glass panels.
