Tandern is located in the northern tip of the Dachau district, between Augsburg, Ingolstadt, and Munich, where the film "Beste Gegend" was shot.

Munich can be reached by public transportation (bus/train) in 45 minutes (bus stop only 25 m away).

The Petershausen train station, 12 km away, has a large Park & Ride parking lot. A bus departs from Tandern daily at hourly intervals, and there is also a request bus available.

The S-Bahn runs every 20 minutes to Munich, and the fast Interregio train reaches Munich’s main station in 16 minutes.

From Altomünster, 5 km away, the S-Bahn runs at 40-minute intervals.

The annex apartment is available for temporary rental.

Minimum rental period: 3 months; maximum rental period by arrangement.
