About 23.9 km and a 25-minute drive away is the town of Frankenberg in the district of Mittelsachsen, situated within the Saxon granitic mountains in the Ore Mountain foreland in the Zschopau Valley, and surrounded by many mixed forests such as the Lützeltal, the Striegistal, or the Buchenwald.

To the west of the town, the Zschopau flows by, and furthermore, the Mühlbach runs through the eponymous district as well as the town center.

Frankenberg achieved particular economic significance through the cigar-making craft and the automotive industry, especially with the Marko Framo (Frankenberg Engine Works), which produced vehicles there between 1923 and 1933.

The landmark of the area is the Protestant Lutheran church St. Aegidien, whose associated church tower is visible even from the motorway. The lower part of the tower was built as early as 1499 and has been preserved to this day. The largest green area near the city center is Friedenspark, which was created from a decommissioned cemetery around 1890/1891.

Approximately 4 kilometers from the town center is the municipality of Dittersbach, which, together with its district Neudörfchen, forms the Frankenberg district of Dittersbach.

The Lützelbach flows through the town, meeting the Zschopau south of Sachsenburg.

North of Dittersbach run the federal road B169 and the federal motorway A4, which can be reached within a few minutes by car, offering excellent road connections to the surrounding cities.

The two advertised one-room apartments are located on the first upper floor of the multi-family house and offer approximately 26 m² of living space featuring a bright living/dining/sleeping area with an adjoining kitchenette and a daylight bathroom with a shower.
