House Wilhelmshöhe is THE landmark in Buckow, the pearl of the Märkische Schweiz. Although built during the Art Nouveau period, the building belongs to the rare Heimatstil—evident in its imposing balcony structures and very large roof overhangs—and it is, of course, under monument protection.

Inside, everything remains as it was 120 years ago: solid, bright, friendly, and generous, brimming with the incredible charm of the Gründerzeit. On floors 1–3 of the main building, style elements such as very high ceilings, stucco, original parquet floors (castle planks), and original heavy wooden doors with unparalleled paneling create a sense of awe. Even the old double doors, originally part of Wilhelmshöhe, have been refurbished and impress with their remarkable height and span.

On the ground floor, ultra-modern apartments have been created according to the latest technical standards—featuring underfloor heating, floor and wall coatings with pigments, and floor-integrated shower areas. All apartments come with oversized terraces, which significantly enhance the living space. In an overall cool, factual tone, the heavy oak doors provide both warmth and a technical appeal.
