The building dates back to 1927 and is older, but the apartment has just been renovated and partially refurbished. It is therefore a first move-in after the renovation. The rooms are bright, feature pleasant sloping ceilings, and are well laid out. There is no balcony. It’s quiet in the building—you don’t hear any neighbors.
The apartment is in Duisburg Hamborn, next to the Hamborn Altmarkt. The location is very convenient: highways and public transport are accessible within a few minutes. Supermarkets, restaurants, doctors, and pharmacies are just around the corner. Schools and daycare centers are also nearby. In the surrounding area, you’ll find many recreational options – for example, a skate park, fitness studios, saunas, and escape rooms. The neighborhood is quite lively, but the apartment itself is quiet.
The flooring is laminate. The bathroom and guest WC are tiled and freshly done, featuring a new shower, bathtub, and modern fixtures. The heating is gas-powered and has been recently serviced. District heating might soon be an option; we are currently checking the connection possibilities. Internet and TV connections are available in the larger rooms. The apartment is unfurnished. A cellar (approx. 12 sqm) and extra storage (2 sqm) in the staircase are included. You can rent a kitchen for an additional 50€ per month, which comes with all the major appliances.
Pets are welcome as long as there is no trouble. The deposit amounts to three net cold rents. The move-in date is flexible, starting from 01.09. Viewings can be scheduled from 15.08. There are parking spaces on the street, but no designated spot. The stairwell is kept clean by a company. We are looking for non-smokers. If a government agency is paying, please clarify the costs beforehand. Expats are very welcome!
