For active days, exploring the fantastic nature park by bicycle is recommended. With a boat + electric motor, it is possible to explore the lake. (Through a communal dock association, a space can be leased if needed – naturally depending on availability.) Those who enjoy swimming can cool off in the lake during the summer at one of the many small or larger bathing spots. Both the dock and the bathing spots are about 50 meters in a straight line away and can be reached via a woodland path. Hiking (including walks through the forest along the lake) can be started directly at the house. A short drive away, you'll find a great draisine track. A local sightseeing highlight is the Dobbertin Monastery with its unique double-tower complex. Recommended nearby towns are the Barlach town Güstrow (20 km) or the state capital Schwerin (54 km). The Agricultural History Museum in Alt-Schwerin, the Slavic Castle in Groß Raden, or the Carriage Museum near Sternberg are also highlights. A restaurant and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Those preferring a broader selection will find plenty in the town of Goldberg, 5 km away. And if you still want to breathe Baltic Sea air: By car, without using the highway, you can reach the Baltic seaside resort of Heiligendamm in an hour on a beautiful route through the Mecklenburg countryside.

The bungalow features a spacious living room, a bedroom with enough space for 3 people. We had a double bed and a loft bed in the room, so that 2 adults and 1 child were able to sleep comfortably. A kitchen and a bathroom complete the living space. For cool days or evenings, there is a fireplace and a heater with a towel holder in the bathroom. A convertible sofa provides two additional reserve sleeping places. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Hot water for the kitchen and bathroom is provided via a hot water boiler. In nice weather, a large covered terrace is ideal for dining, reading, or simply sitting. The property is enclosed by hedges and a fence. This makes it possible for dog owners to let their dog run freely. Over the past 3 years, the little house has gradually been equipped with new furniture, a new kitchen, and a new sofa. The sale includes not only the furnishings but also the TV, garden furniture, and gas grill.

In addition to the plot on which the house stands, surrounding parcel portions (paths/open areas) are also sold. This secures the right of way around the house.

We have had the fiber-optic connection installed by WEMAG in the house, so that an internet connection can be registered. Remote working from the vacation home and streaming on the TV are thus fully possible.
