Kasel is probably the most well-known wine-growing community along the Ruwer and was first mentioned in historical records in the year 973. Currently, Kasel is home to around 1,300 inhabitants. The village features a playground, a daycare center, and a primary school (in cooperation with the neighboring community of Mertesdorf). In the immediate vicinity, there are supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies, restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, and the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path. The connection by car to the B52/L151, which in turn leads within a few minutes on an idyllic drive to the motorways A64 (toward Luxembourg), A602 (Trier city motorway), and A1, is excellent. Via Ruwertal and Trier-Ruwer, Trier’s center is 9 km away.

On the upper floor are located the sleeping, bathroom, and children’s/hobby rooms. Above all doors are transoms fitted with frosted glass, so that thanks to the two roof windows, the attic is also flooded with light. In the master bedroom, there is a large walk-in closet. The bathroom is both modern and spacious, offering space for a toilet, a large level-access rain shower with a seat, a freestanding 2-person bathtub, and a large vanity with two washbasins, complemented by a large, custom-made mirror with indirect lighting, built-in wardrobes, and a music system. In the entrance area to the kitchen, the ceramic countertop projects outward so that it can also be used as a small seating area with bar stools.

Heading down to the basement, you enter the very large and open living room. Most of the living room is in the vaulted ceiling area, so that the ceiling height extends over two floors. From the living room, you can reach the terrace directly through two doors in the window façade, and from both the living room and the terrace you enjoy a wonderful view of the Ruwertal. Additionally, there are conduit ducts for Dolby Surround speakers and connections for a bar area. Also on the lower floor are the utility room (including the heat pump) and the separate apartment or guest area. Until now, this part was used as a guest area and was only separated by a sliding door, but it could be divided by a drywall to serve as a separate apartment. In this approximately 39 m², there is a sleeping area and a living area that could also be partitioned, as well as a fitted kitchen (with a dishwasher and two ceramic glass cooktops) and a bathroom with a level-access rain shower.
