The former stable building from around 1920 was comprehensively renovated and converted. All historical wooden structures in the attic area are visible from the inside, sanded and treated in gray. Large wooden windows ensure plenty of light. The Augustenhof is located on the edge of the still intact farming village of Tosterglope, about 6 km from Dahlenburg and roughly 30 km from Lüneburg. Hamburg can be reached either by train from Lüneburg or directly by car (approximately 1 hour travel time).
The kindergarten in Tosterglope is within walking distance via a paved country path (about 400 m), and primary schools are available in Barskamp (just under 4 km) or Dahlenburg (6 km).
All rooms are fitted with a herringbone oak parquet floor. In the two bathrooms and the corridor, tiles have been laid in a historical style. All wooden windows are custom-made, painted green on the outside and lacquered white on the inside. The large country-style fitted kitchen is open to the living area. The living room features a chimney where a fireplace or tiled stove could be connected. The central wood chip heating system ensures low costs for heating and hot water.
We are looking for people who enjoy sharing the beauty of nature at the Augustenhof with us. The sunrises are part of the daily view, and the evening tranquility is touching. The apartment will be available from October 1, 2025, possibly also from September 16. Some interior photos are still missing, but they will be added in the coming days.
In addition to the apartment, a roughly 30 sqm unit (that is, a garage with a lot of space) could also be rented. It is located directly diagonally opposite in a utility building renovated in 2021.
