Volksdorf, a district in the northern part of Hamburg, is very popular due to its numerous green spaces and woodlands, and its town center offers everything: doctors of every specialty, physiotherapy practices, a drugstore, a bakery, various restaurants, cafés, a cinema with three screening rooms, a market twice a week, public transportation including U-Bahn connections – just 30 minutes to the city and also to the Elbphilharmonie. This beautiful house is located on a residential street.
Overall, the villa is very bright; the triple-glazed windows and patio doors let in lots of light, and one of them leads to the conservatory, which can be accessed from two sides. Cellular blinds help to block too much sun – wonderful as a greenhouse!
The entrance area of the house, designed very generously, leads to the first bedroom, the kitchen, the dining room, the living room, the guest WC (one of a total of 4 WCs in the house), or down to the basement. The floors are laid with designer vinyl planks. Carpeting is installed in the living room and on the upper floor. The living room is divided by a fireplace wall that allows the fireplace to be used from both sides. The dining room is open to the kitchen. There are several terraces with motorized awnings. The garden pond is home to about 30–40 fish. A water staircase provides soothing sounds and also cools the area in summer; it is electrically controlled – as are the awnings. The sauna house has a small terrace with an awning for resting or, if desired, immediate refreshment in the whirlpool.
At the two external water points, an extra water meter makes cheaper water available, as we have a biotope.

The garage houses a folding staircase that provides access to an attic covering the entire area of the garage and sauna house. This offers plenty of extra storage space.
Both the carport gate and the garage are electrically opened using two available remote controls – conveniently operated from the car when arriving. The double carport area is a wonderful play area – for table tennis or similar games – as it is enclosed.
And why are we selling – when everything is so beautiful and wonderful? We still feel very comfortable here, happy in this house – but we have "aged" and have now purchased a plot in Volksdorf to build a bungalow.
