Starting August 1, 2025, a renovated holiday apartment with a lovely balcony on the first/attic floor is available in our building. Approximately 30 m² of combined living/dining area with access to a charming breakfast balcony, open kitchen, two very small bedrooms, and a new shower room. The house is quiet and well maintained, located in a cul-de-sac, with predominantly tenants aged 60 and above. The apartments in the building are used either as permanent holiday homes (with the possibility to sublet to family and friends) or as second residences for older long-term tenants – and, if desired, even as primary residences serving as retirement homes. Due to the age distribution in the building, singles and couples aged 50 and above are preferred. Both primary residence and second residence are permitted.

The location is a very quiet cul-de-sac in an area of well-maintained single-family houses with holiday apartments. Via a country lane, you can turn right and walk 200 m to reach the beach and the beautiful beach promenade with its excellent restaurants. In the immediate vicinity there is a tennis court, playgrounds, boat rental, and a dog beach. To the left, within 300 m, is the Kellenhusen Forest with a fitness trail and animal enclosures. Good shopping facilities, public transportation, a bus station, doctors, and a physiotherapy practice are all within walking distance.

The newly renovated open-plan apartment features an entrance area with a small cloakroom, a complete kitchenette—ideal for one to two people (pets are welcome), a bright living room with a small walk-in closet, and then two rather small bedrooms, each with room for two beds and a bedside table. There is a lovely breakfast balcony accessible from the living room that offers a limited view of the Baltic Sea.

The daylight-filled, completely new shower room includes a toilet and a hand wash basin.

There is also a small basement storage room. A washing machine and dryer are available for communal use.

The apartment was originally designed for short-term holiday use by four people. The original furnishings included built-in wardrobes and, due to the sloping ceilings in the attic, custom-made furniture that was well-suited and sufficient for a two-week vacation. For long-term tenants, singles, or couples who wish to move in with minimal belongings (furniture), the apartment is also ideal as a primary residence. It is not suitable for those looking to give up a larger home and bring a lot of bulky furniture. The apartment is currently rented unfurnished. It has been renovated, featuring a completely new shower room and a new integrated kitchen in the living area. All room floors have been fitted with new coverings. Some of the photos in the advertisement date from before the renovation. Unfortunately, we have only had negative experiences with seasonal workers. Therefore, please only apply if you have a permanent, year-round job and are no longer in a probationary period. The minimum rental period is 24 months.
