We offer a cozy cabin for rent in the middle of a forest while still being within close reach of Prague. The cabin is tucked away from the settlement and provides pleasant privacy.
It is a 1+1 layout, with the possibility of adding two more rooms in the attic in the future.
The main living area has been gently renovated in a natural wooden style.
The toilet can be either composting or chemical (currently located outdoors, though it could be installed indoors). The bathroom needs some work before it can be put into operation—it is not usable at the moment (although the shower had been in service before; the pump and supplies are available).
Solar electricity is provided for small devices, water comes from both rainwater and well-delivered sources, cooking is done with a gas bottle, and there is a fireplace—with a possibility to install a washing machine/dryer (WAW) if desired.
The cabin has been used as a year-round residence.
It is partially furnished with furniture, roughly as shown in the photos.
There are no monthly fees. The tenant only needs to replenish the gas bottle used for the stove.
Truly in the midst of nature, despite its proximity to Prague.
Around the cabin, you’ll hear the barking of roe deer, and female deer may even wander right up to it. At night, owls hoot.
There is a gorgeous forest with excellent spots for mushroom picking, wild herbs, and plenty of wild strawberries right by the cabin. A nearby stream and the beautiful Radotín Valley add to the charm.
Within the settlement, you can join the seasonal community and their activities; however, if you prefer solitude, the cabin’s location offers you a refuge from them.
We will be selective about the tenant, as this place is very dear to us—it has been our fairy-tale home for years.
If there are multiple suitable candidates, the offered price will be decisive.
If the tenant helps out with the renovation work on their own, up to 50% of the monthly rent can be deducted—note that some repairs are necessary.
