“Freiraumquadrat” offers you flexibly bookable rooms that have been designed with interior architectural expertise yet remain far from interchangeable trends. Each space stands on its own, is unique, and has its own effect. Modern furniture harmonizes with antique pieces. Most items feature soft, flowing, organically gentle shapes. Color and light also play an important role, as they not only emotionally move us through visual perception, but also have an immediate impact on our nervous system. The earthy wall colors are present without being overwhelming and harmonize with the tones of the respective furnishings. The lighting in the rooms is not solely for functional illumination but creates an atmosphere. A space has been created that radiates comfort, security, and tranquility. A free space amidst the squares for your ideas, your conversations.

The spaces are conceived as flexible (interim) solutions. For example, if you first want to build up a customer base before investing in your own premises, or if you only have occasional needs.

- For everyone who engages in conversations: whether a coach, consultant, trainer, mediator, alternative practitioner, …

- Suitable for both individual and group settings.

- The rooms are also ideal for work groups, project teams, study groups or smaller seminars/continuing education events.

- They could also be used for smaller yoga classes or postnatal courses (room “Morgennebel”).

Do you do something different? Just inquire – I am curious about your ideas! It is important that things remain calm (so no drum therapy or similar).

How does it work?

A room use agreement is concluded for the rental. The rooms can then be booked online as needed and depending on availability – either on short notice or weeks in advance. A room tailored to your wishes, without any fixed commitment, acquisition costs, high ongoing expenses, or risk.

All rooms are available from Monday to Friday between 7:00 and 22:00 (closed on Wednesdays between 9:15 and 14:15) and on Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 and 22:00.

The rooms are located in Mannheim Quadrat C2 20 on the second floor of a late-classicist townhouse built around 1850, featuring a beautiful staircase with flat, very comfortable-to-walk-on steps (no elevator).

The Paradeplatz is located practically around the corner (approx. 200 m). It’s a 16-minute walk (1.3 km) to the main train station or a 300-meter walk to the tram stop, from where it is a 3-minute ride to the main station.

Parking is easily available in the four surrounding parking garages C1, D5, D3, and Kaufhof (walking time 1–3 minutes). On the street, you can park with a parking ticket.

The conversation rooms are equipped with several seating options (armchairs, sofas, chairs), side tables, a table or desk, rug, curtains, indirect lighting, clock, wool blanket, various decorative objects, and coat hooks. The room “Morgennebel” additionally features three wall-mounted whiteboards (each 80 x 110 cm) and, for its furnishings suited for group settings, stackable chairs will be available. For the two other rooms, mobile whiteboards are provided. In the waiting area you will find several seating options and a small selection of reading materials.

In the kitchenette you will find glasses, cups, coasters, plates, bowls, cutlery, and a kettle. WLAN is available. There is no telephone connection or water connections in the rentable rooms.
