Flat for sale 4+1 • 145 m² without real estate, Brandenburg
, BrandenburgPublic transport 1 minute of walkingFor sale is one of four apartments in the manor house “Mon Plaisir” in Altkünkendorf. The apartment is located on the first floor on the south side of the building and offers a lovely view of the countryside.
The manor house was built around 1790–1810 and once formed the center of an estate, whose remnants—such as barns, granaries, and stone walls—still shape the local landscape today and are under ensemble protection. As an individual monument, the manor house is an architecturally valuable building, typical of the region and the era in which it was built. A comprehensive, historically sensitive renovation was carried out in 1994. Four individual apartments were created, each now possessing its own charm. The manor house features an approximately 5,000 m² garden, which is available for shared use.
Altkünkendorf is one of 23 districts of the city of Angermünde in the southeast of Uckermark, roughly about an hour's drive or train ride from Berlin. The village, with around 160 inhabitants, is situated in the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, amidst a glacially shaped, hilly landscape with beech forests, open fields, lakes, and ponds.
Train connections, shopping facilities, restaurants, schools, and more are available in the city of Angermünde, located nine kilometers away. In the summer, a bus runs there every hour during the day.
Around the village, you will find largely unspoiled nature. In the immediate vicinity of the village is the Grumsin, part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage “Ancient Beech Forests of Europe” – a forest that is allowed to develop undisturbed into an ancient woodland without human intervention. The other forests, as well as the hedgerow-lined fields and meadows, also invite you to enjoy wonderful walks.
On the outskirts of Altkünkendorf lies the Heilige See with a lovely bathing area. The larger Wolletzsee can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
