Jagel is one of the 8 member municipalities of the Amt Haddeby and is very conveniently located just south of the district town Schleswig on the B77 towards Rendsburg. It is about 40 km to the Danish border, 30 to 40 km to both the North and Baltic Seas, and around 120 km to Hamburg.
The Schlei region is reachable as a recreational and holiday area within just a few minutes’ drive. In nearby Selker Noor, there is a large swimming lake; in Schleswig, there is the Marienbad with a restaurant and the Luisenbad in Schleswig with a bathing establishment.
From Jagel, there are beautiful hiking trails available. A large water skiing and wakeboard park is within walking distance.
Additionally, Jagel boasts an excellent Italian restaurant.
All the furnishings are new and of high quality. A hybrid stove in the living room provides heating through pellets or wood (remotely controllable via an app) and also heats the conservatory.
The ancillary costs are extremely low due to the primary energy source, pellets, and the existing PV systems. Electricity costs are approximately 0 € thanks to the feed-in tariff.
