Absolute tranquility and a secluded location in the middle of the forest – growing vegetables in the garden and picking fruit from the trees, going for walks or baking bread in the historic oven – all on a property of over 3000 m² in a beautiful forest house built in 1845. On the idyllic property with an annex and two garages, you’ll find plenty of space and room to live, relax, and develop: a vegetable garden, fruit trees, a lawn, and a playground for children, dog, and cat.

The property was solidly established in 1845, built in solid construction, well maintained, and has been steadily renovated and restored over recent years. It has become what we see today – a paradise for those seeking peace. Entering the house through the main entrance, you step into a small hallway from which a staircase leads to the attic, and you gain access to the generously sized living room on the ground floor as well as a small office. Additionally, on this living floor you’ll find a guest room, a bedroom, the cozy living kitchen, a utility room, and the bathroom. In the attic of the house, there are two more lovely rooms offering a fantastic view of the property and the forest. The entire living area measures about 170 m².

All the walls in the house are either plastered, painted, or wallpapered. The flooring consists of wooden planks and tiles.

Drinking water is supplied via a well. The house’s water supply is located in the basement.

The house is heated with liquid gas (tank on the property); the gas boiler was installed in 2014. On chilly autumn days, one can still use the old tiled stoves – cozy warmth in a snug atmosphere is guaranteed.

The house is located in the middle of the forest, with the nearest neighbor 2 km away. Here you truly have your peace. Yet, it is well connected. By car, you can reach central Berlin in less than an hour and a half. The train is just as fast. It takes 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes by bicycle to get to the station. From there, the regional express takes less than an hour to the main station in Berlin. The nearest shopping facilities in Fürstenberg (Edeka, Toom, and Aldi) can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

The house already has a fully equipped bathroom, and a kitchen is planned to follow soon. We would also like to further beautify and equip the house – however, this will be done in consultation with the tenants and co-residents, and we are open to suggestions.

We rent out several rooms in this charming house. We (Sven and Martin) use it as a weekend house in a shared living format, but we would be delighted if someone would use the large room upstairs on a permanent basis. One room is already rented out to Dan and Alina, so there are still three rooms available for kind people! We look forward to hearing from you!
