All schools and shopping opportunities, as well as Starnberg’s promenade with banks, boutiques, restaurants, bars, etc. in the city center, can be reached on foot in less than 15 minutes.
The Starnberg train station, located on the lakeside promenade with S-Bahn services every 20 minutes and regional trains every hour, is about an 8-minute walk away. With the local transit network or by car, you can reach downtown Munich in just over half an hour.
Traffic jams on the B2 through Starnberg are easily avoided, as the direct route to the two highways to Munich (A96 and A99) leads from the apartment in an almost straight line via quieter local roads that bypass the busy bottlenecks.

We used to live in the apartment ourselves for many years and always felt extremely comfortable there. The community consists of likeable people of mixed ages—overall very pleasant neighbors.
