The earthen plaster in the sleeping and living areas provides a pleasant, healthy, and guaranteed mold-free indoor climate. The room temperature-controlled wall heating beneath the clay warms the house quickly and very economically when combined with the large thermal solar system. A water-carrying stove in the living kitchen replaces the former fire pit and is technically capable of supplying the entire house with heating and hot water. A gas heating system automatically turns on when necessary. The 200 m² garden with two small terraces can be used for barbecuing and relaxing. The parking space is located directly at the house.

The house is situated in the second row behind the dike in the old center of Finkenwerder with a friendly and helpful neighborhood. In the immediate vicinity, there are smaller, mostly historic houses and the Elbe dike. The office buildings of the supplier companies located around the Airbus facilities can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. Likewise, the Airbus facilities themselves, the banks of the Elbe offering views of Blankenese, the Rüschpark, and the Finkenwerder town center are all within easy reach.

The bus connection to the ferry slip is accessible within a 2-minute walk. With the HVV Elbe ferry, you travel directly to the Landungsbrücken, and from there, you can continue to Hamburg Central Station or the airport. Finkenwerder is also well connected by car via the A7. Alternatively, the HVV ferry in Rüschpark, which is a 5-minute walk away, leads to Teufelsbrück. From there, buses travel to the airport and to Altona or to S-Bahn line 1.

Finkenwerder offers a very high recreational value through its direct connection to the old Land, the Elbe riverbank at Rüschpark, or the Elbe beaches on the other bank near Blankenese.

In Finkenwerder, the city of Hamburg is connected with the countryside. Here you have both within walking distance – in one direction to the Hamburg city center and in the other, on foot, to the northern countryside or by bike to the old Land.

The living kitchen is equipped with a cooking hob, a dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer combination. A washing machine and dryer are located on the ground floor. The furnishings are not yet completely finished. In addition to a few small items, chairs for the kitchen table and a large worktop for the height-adjustable desk are missing. If necessary, an additional sleeping accommodation in the living room could also be arranged. Minor changes to the furnishings can be made upon agreement.

You are renting directly from a private individual without any direct or indirect commission. Operating costs are billed according to consumption, which can vary greatly depending on the use of the house. The operating costs are calculated for normal use for one person based on current prices. All meters (gas, electricity/water) are easily accessible and can be simply checked by you.
