The concept of Caritas Living with Service consists of different building blocks from a basic and optional service package, structured in a needs-based and tailored manner depending on the facility. Through a variety of accompanying and supportive services, Caritas offers the residents the opportunity to live independently in their own apartment for as long as possible. Regular contact is maintained with the residents so that, if necessary, appropriate measures can be implemented in a timely manner. The fundamental goal of Living with Service is to preserve as long as possible the independence of living in one's own home. To achieve this, Caritas facilitates supportive and complementary services that are necessary and beneficial for this purpose. These services can be provided either by the Caritas organization itself or by external cooperation partners. In any case, the residents always have the right to choose and decide.

Within the ancillary costs of 270 EUR, the heating cost prepayment and the care fee (Caritas) are included. Certain services are covered in this amount (e.g. promoting contacts among tenants through activities in the communal areas). Other services (such as an emergency call system, laundry service, meals on wheels) must be arranged individually – however, assistance is provided in securing them.

The apartment can be occupied immediately.

The property is located in a lively, centrally-located residential area in Monheim am Rhein. Several bus lines run nearby. The new "Monheimer Mitte" and the town hall are in close proximity.
